Our People

The dedicated and experienced educators at Milestones Wulguru are here to support you and your child throughout early childhood and beyond. Our educators are highly knowledgeable and in every room you’ll see us promoting learning through play. We encourage parents to tell us about their child’s interests so we can extend this through the curriculum. By following children’s interests, we really create a feeling of belonging and encourage their learning.

What makes you passionate about working in childcare? Knowing that I am making an impact and helping scaffold children into the people. They are going to be for the rest of their lives. Being a part of their first point of learning is such a wonderful feeling.

What is the funniest or most memorable moment you can share from working in childcare? My first ever childcare job, I was able to watch 2 classes of children grow from the nursery all the way up to kindergarten and off to school. Building the bonds with those children over the 4 years, was the most memorable experience. I still see them every now and again and it is a great feeling when they remember who I am, it means I have impacted them.

Why do you believe your centre is an excellent choice for parents seeking the best childcare? Milestones Wulguru has a great team of educators who work collaborativelyto deliver quality care to all of our children. We focus on all aspects of learning and like to introduce new and exciting experiences weekly, to ensure our children are staying engaged. We have a great relationship with our local school and deliver weekly visits for our kindergarten children to ensure they are getting the most out of our school readiness program.

Fun Fact about you: I have a collection of almost every piece of art I’ve done with children over my 8 years 😊 I ensure I sit and do the activity with them and I then take the sample I made and stick it in a folder. These have become a great resource for my staff when they are stuck for extension of learning ideas.
